About me

Hi there! Welcome! I am Ruma, a mother of three and a former maths and science teacher who is now trying to follow her dreams of writing. I live in Adelaide, South Australia and this blog is going to be about my life and my writings. It will be a direct reflection of my life, my gardening, cooking and pets plus my obsession with taking photos on my phone. I hope you will find the posts funny, meaningful and insightful in a beautiful way. Hope you like what you see and come back for more.

  5. Dear Ruma: I came across your fascinating WordPress blog while looking for material on Tagore and Tripura. I have just posted the first of two articles on Sachin Dev Burman online. I entirely agree with your assessment of Tagore as the “greatest poet and writer.” I usually go a step beyond and maintain that he was “the greatest human being to have lived on this planet.” Your work is wonderful. Please keep it going.
