Boxes of our making

One of the worst things about the boxes we put people into is the way we fail to see all the facets that form their identity. All we see is the side that faces up at us, often because of the way we have stuffed them within the four walls of our narrow minded views. This piece of Middle Eastern Art….I could sit and look at this all day and still find new things!

Carry to me the breath of a thousand siroccos,
blowing away the scales
over my eyes.
